Proverbs of Susella

As a mother feeds her child,

So too, YouTube feeds her children


To turn is greater than to scroll.

The page is wiser than the screen.


Though the floodwaters rise, the righteous don’t buy more milk than they need.


The fool posts about their annoyance at once, but the wise disable their notifications.


The fool says, “my way is righteous – unlike many,” and many say the same.


Money in the bank,

Food in the fridge.

Both have their expiration date.


A well-trained dog brings honour to its owner.

An ill-tempered dog brings reproach.


One who is wiser in their own eyes

Is smoke in another’s.


To scale a mountain is to delay gratification.

The easy path to pleasures is a precipitous cliff.


The fool heralds his views without understanding his opponents.


A good name is better than a known name.

To be a popular fool ranks lower than a local servant.


Intelligence is not wisdom,

And wisdom is not found on Wikipedia


Mow the lawn, and you will have to do it again.

Correct the fool, and you will have to do it again.


Chat to that neighbour. A long conversation with them is time well spent.
